Levodopa is used in the pharmaceutical industry for CNS conditions. L-dopa is manufactured by an enzymatic method. L-dopa is manufactured under cGMP conditions as are all Ajinomoto amino acids. The advantage of using the Small Pack L-Dopa is that revalidation will not be necessary as the project moves to production scale up.
